ABOUT ME

Sue Puetz.jpg

I was born in Texas and have a BA in Mathematics/Computer Science from UT Austin. My professional career began at NASA Houston during the Apollo 11 era as a programmer collecting and analyzing life support systems data. My career morphed to Austin as a data processor for a scientific research company and later as a consultant for businesses newly-adopting in-house automated accounting systems.

Although I have had stakes only in Texas, I have an insatiable appetite for education and adventure. I lived in a Motorhome for four years - sans home base - while touring the USA. I swam with the manatees and the stingrays, soared in a glider over the mountains of Montana and drifted in a hot air balloon over Austin and Sedona. I've surfed the dunes of Monahans Sandhills SP and The Great Sand Dunes NP, climbed to the crown of the Statue of Liberty and hiked the Narrows in Zion NP.
